Network N Ltd is looking for a bright and capable Accounts Clerk to join our Finance Department in the Bath head office of our fast growing games media business.
About Network N Ltd
Network N is a successful and fast growing 6 year old business that owns and operates videogame websites. We own 11 sites and media properties that cover PC games, and act as agent for over 60 more. We currently have 50+ full time staff.
You will report to the Head of Finance and be responsible for assisting in maintaining the company’s cashflow and accounts as we aggressively expand our business.
In a nutshell, you’ll know how to get invoices paid! You will readily utilise your communication abilities to maximise cash inflow by ensuring prompt payments are made and the sales ledgers are kept accurate and up to date.
You’ll be working in a fast-paced commercial environment as part of a tightly knit and committed team.
Required experience:
- Experience of invoicing and bookkeeping
- It would be advantageous if you have experience using Sage and Xero
- A good knowledge of standard IT packages (Google Docs/Sheets, Excel,Slack, Windows, etc)
- The role involves data inputting so a strong attention to detail and accuracy is vital
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
Responsibilities will include:
- Bank reconciliations (GBP and foreign currency)
- Account reconciliation
- Invoice management: raising sales invoices and ensuring payments are on time (credit control)
- Expense management: preparing and checking expenses, raising payments
- Contribution to month end processing
- Sales ledger duties which include but are not limited to: setting up new clients, chasing outstanding debts and resolving customer queries
- Investigating discrepancies and liaising with other departments to resolve queries
