Role: Staff Writer, Network N

Network N is looking for a Staff Writer to work on one of its biggest gaming-focused network sites. You will be part of a dynamic, rapidly growing media team based in Bath.
You’ll write copy about the biggest upcoming games, with a special focus on PC and hardware, regularly creating and updating content. You’ll be able to hit deadlines and work quickly and efficiently, and have an excellent knowledge of the gaming industry and the most exciting titles on the horizon.
Experience of previously published, gaming-focused writing elsewhere is essential – even if not in a professional capacity – and you’ll be able to fit well into a busy office environment. This role will offer you the chance to join a talented, dedicated team, and work with some of the best content producers in the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Writing and update website content (think this, but not on PCGN)
- Posting to and overseeing social media accounts
- Keeping a keen eye on the gaming landscape
- Optimising content for search engines
- Building and maintaining industry relationships
Required skills and experience:
- Strong writing ability
- Knowledge of and interest in videogames, and PC gaming hardware in particular
- Proactivity, attention to detail, and excellent organisation
- Previous CMS experience
- Examples of previously published work elsewhere
Desirable skills and experience:
- Experience managing social media accounts
- Understanding of SEO best practices
